longest drive contest information
Longest Drive (Hole #9): This competition has two divisions:
- Seniors (Ages: 40+)
- Open (Ages: 20-39)
Rules:
Your first ball off the tee must come to rest in the fairway to qualify for the Longest Drive Contest.
If your drive is the longest, write your name on the marker card and place the marker in the ground on the spot where your ball lays.
Once the marker has been placed in the ground, it should stay there until someone else makes a drive longer than yours. Then, that person should repeat the procedure of writing their name on the card below the other name(s) and place the marker at the spot.
Monitor will mark your ball to determine your distance. Distance away from the center of the fairway will be subtracted from your distance.
