- There's something universally compelling about looking at old photos — even more so when the viewer shares an aloha connection as we do with the Polynesian Cultural Center. The PCC 50th Anniversary web team has compiled thousands of old photos in the galleries indicated above. They range from current employees and events back to the "good old days" . . . when Church College of Hawaii students and their leaders put together "Polynesian Panorama" and first began performing in Waikiki, or when volunteer labor missionaries from throughout Polynesia and their supervisors originally built the Center. We invite you to enjoy them all.
In the galleries linked below we've compiled a selection of photos taken during the PCC's 50th Anniversary celebration from September 1-8, 2013 . . . as well as a gallery of well-known guests — including kings, presidents, heads of state, Latter-day Saint General Authorities, ambassadors, movie stars, other celebrities, governors, international leaders, sports stars and numerous other VIPS who have visited the Center over the past 50 years.
